01.20.09 - George W. Bush's Last Day
The Final Countdown was a fun lens to do, actually inspired by my husband who saw a countdown the days calendar.
The focus is on marking the time until there is a positive change on January 20, 2009.
Take a peek and vote for your favorite song that commemorates 01.20.09 or add your opinion on the topic in several of the polls and duel modules.
The lens is pro change rather than an anti-Bush sentiment.

one of your duels has a typo on the date, "what will you be doing on 01.02.09" with a 02 instead of a 20 in the middle.
there's a really awful cover of the song The Final Countdown w/ youtube id string 'Pw8sNoodIDk' that is so notorious around fark.com that someone created a Fark user id with that same youtube id...

I am ready for an end to the current administration, I think we are all ready for a positive change in the right direction, regardless of party, regardless of personality.

I hadn't planned on doing a political lens, but when my husband saw the calendar and I remembered about the Countdown module 1 + 1 led to the Final Countdown lens.
Don't usually discuss my politics, especially since we are split between Republicans and Democrats in my extended family, but I the Final Countdown ended up being a fun lens to create and a good reason to step out a bit.
I still haven't admitted who I am supporting in the next election.
