I declare this Squidoo Positivity Week!
I'm going to visit at least 30 new lenses each day that I've never read before and take the time to read them, comment, rate, and favorite as appropriate - lensroll or feature on one of mine if applicable, and basically just do my little tiny bit to boost the community in general. Spread some positives in the community, be kind and supportive a give sone credit where credit is due. I've done about 20 today, but am nearly asleep now, so will start fresh in the morning. Virtual hugs to all!

Although I'm pretty good about this, I think it's a good thing to encourage.
Sort of a "meet your neighbor" party! The veteran Squids should visit visit the 'younguns'.

This is a great idea, I would like to be counted in if thats ok, though with the time I have available I doubt very much that I can manage to rate nearly as many as 30 I will try to do 10 though.

OK, I got up early this morning and found 10 more to make my 30 from yesterday.
This is what I'm doing - I just find a random lens. Once I've read it I look and see who's favorited it and if I don't know one of the avatars, I'll click on it to look at one of theirs. If no favorites, I'll go to the lensmaster profile and find an avatar in their fanclub to check out. I'm visiting all of my "friends" of course, because there are a few (like Naiza, Mulberry, GrammaBarb, Spook, and about 100 others who I LOVE to pieces but just haven't visited in a couple of weeks) AND I'm looking for others who I've never met before.
Also, in the spirit of positivity, I'm working on 2 new "Awards" lenses.
The first is called The Blue Squid of Happiness Award" which will be given to lensmasters who consistantly spread cheer throughout our family. The first 2 winners are going to be Jaguar Julie and Janusz.
The second is The Squidoo Kidoo award which will be given to lenses judged totally by my 4 kiddos. They'll look at lenses and winners will be unanimously awarded by them. The first winner is going to be beeobrien's Halloween Eyeball lens.
More details on the awards will be given once I get the associated lenses finished for them.

BTW, guys... basic rule for accepting Fresh Squid into group is:
You joined Squidoo in past month AND/OR have no more than 5 published lenses!
So you know what to look for!
