Who's in the money?

Congratulations everyone - we paid out some huge chunks of change this month with several lensmasters earning $50, $100, $300 and more more more!

Who was our top cash earning lensmaster for this month?  Why our very own Relache!

Keep up the great work.  Can't wait to see what we're paying out in January!!

Re: Who's in the money?

Wow, Kimberly.... I'd say I was floored, except I jumped to my feet when I read that!

I never would have guessed I was top cash earner, especially since I've been trying to get my Squidoo earnings back up to what I got paid in August of this year.  LOL!

Thanks, everyone!

Re: Who's in the money?

Hi Kim- I just received this Message when I logged into my Dashboard.

January 23, 2008: WAHOOOOO! Did you know you're one of the top earners on Squidoo?

Our records show that your Squidoo account earned more than $600 in 2007. Hot dog. So, it's time to gather some 1099 info from you. Please drop Kimberly, our Community Organizer, a note at kimberly@squidoo.com and she'll tell you what comes next. (And if you're outside the U.S., please let her know that too--you'll be off the hook for paperwork.)

The sooner the better... the taxman says we won't be able to send your next payment until we've collected this info.

Thanks for all the fantastic work! smile

This sounds great…BUT, I didn't make anywhere near the $600.00 that this message claims. Is this a mistake or is someone using your identity to try to get tax info from me? PLEASE HELP!
Thanks!

Re: Who's in the money?

I was going to ask the same question! I had that message but it was repeated three or four times so it seemed fishy (I've only made $1.67 and have no royalties in my stats. I doubt 3 new lenses and a group earned $600 in ad revenue in a month lol)

Oh come on, Relache! I too have a college degree (though not in costume and makeup). Tell us more, please about the "secrets".

My hearty congrats to you.

Re: Who's in the money?

I was just looking for a thread on how much top lensmakers were making monthly, this is very helpful.  Thanks!

I've made a whopping $5.00 in my entire Squidistence. But most of my lenses were created in January, although I joined over a year ago.

How long does it take to see more than just $0.00 in your Dashboard?  I mean, when it gets posted there, is it new, pending, or payable?  If that's a real-time amount, I will be very sad. But I'll keep trying.

Re: Who's in the money?

the $ shows up on your dashboard as soon as the items are shipped...usually 2 days after a purchase

that money will be paid to you 2 months later

$ on dashboards right now is from sales in December & January...and a few days in February

edited to add:
Adsense pay isn't included in your dashboard amount

Re: Who's in the money?

Bleary and befuddled as I am after staying up working for 48 hours, I seem to be missing something.

No, don't worry, it's not the Squidcash!

It's just the stats for what earned what. Under the Royalties tab for each lens, my last payday is listed as 1/8/08.

I think.

I AM tired. Is anyone else (not) seeing this, or should I check again tomorrow when I'm more awake?

Re: Who's in the money?

I'm seeing Feb 08 stats but I think they just appeared today, and weren't up on the day we got paid.  Go take another look after you get some sleep just to be sure.

did you reach your payout threshold?
