*The Forum Rules.
Yep, rules. Read 'em. Abide by 'em. Or your sea creature powers may be revoked. Temporarily, or for good.
1. New to the lounge? Get started here. Learn which category to post your note in, and create a forum signature.
2. Spam: just don't do it. Thou also shalt not fill the forums with multiple threads on the same topic, sockpuppet, or link to irrelevant and non-Squidoo sites (includes signatures).
3. Thou shalt not flame, harass, denigrate, spam, malign, or otherwise finger-point and name-call at ANYONE. This one's a biggy. This too can get you banned.
4. Squidstaff love interacting with smart front-line people, so they stop by the forums from time to time to hear your ideas and share updates. However, this isn't the place to post bugs or solicit admin action. Please send those requests through our feedback link.
5. The SquidU forum is a place for users to interact, to share ideas and inspiration (and yes, gripes... maybe another lensmaster can help) and have fun with their lenses. Try searching for an answer or visiting The Answer Deck.

Do you know where to find the best.snow.ever.com? Or which are the
best.lyrics.ever.com? Or where to find the best.thaifood.ever.com?
These savvy lensmasters do!
Or maybe being the best isn't your forte. Maybe you'd rather talk
about the grouchiest.grouch.ever.com, or buy the
smallest.macs.ever.com. Have you ever smelled the
smelliest.flower.ever.com, or snorted over the
funniest.cartoons.ever.com? There's always room to gossip about the
sorriest.president.ever.com and reap the health benefits of the
healthiest.oil.ever.com.
The opportunities are enormous! With over 70 descriptive terms to
choose from - superlatives, to be exact - there's one to fit each of
your EVERs.
But don't wait...these names are available on a first come, first
steal basis! So go ahead and claim up to 10 per 24-hour period (for
now). And you have to promise to love them and continue to
make them better. If you don't, they'll go back into the pool for
someone else to build.

I've had a fantastic idea... instead of best.console.ever.com being a statement based on my opinion, it could be a question. The lens would then put forward cases for each of the three consoles, and have a poll/guestbook for people to leave their opinions. I may well do this to my best ever lens.
Given the keywords in the URL and title, this approach might be better for some topics, especially if you consider what people might be searching for... e.g. which console is best?

My turn.... what else would I do a greatest on, but.....

Should there be adult links appearing among the samples on The Ever Project page?

WaterWalker: Adult doesn't mean bad, or even indecent automatically, just perhaps not suitable for kids.

I meant adult as in X

The "examples" pull from the top rated lenses, just as SquidWho shows on its main page. If you find a lens that is improperly rated feel free to flag it. Otherwise once you go to it the safe search feature you've configured will kick in.

I am surfing in G mode. I didn't actually visit the lens - don't want to either. I just assumed that a lens with the word 'slut' in the URL should not automatically appear on The Ever Project page.

Just a note to everyone... I would not recommend using any copyrighted terms in your domain name.
Lawyers can't do much about www.squidoo.com/ebay but you can bet your butt they'll be all over best.ebay.ever.com

I've done mine--it took way longer than I expected.

It's about Paul Graham. He's well known with tech people, but many of his essays are very accessible to the rest of us--and so helpful in clarifying one's thinking about what's really important!

Will there be a chance in the future to suggest additional superlatives to add to the list?
I had several ideas just to find the superlative I wanted to use isn't on the list.
