Yep, rules. Read 'em. Abide by 'em. Or your sea creature powers may be revoked. Temporarily, or for good.

1. New to the lounge? Get started here. Learn which category to post your note in, and create a forum signature.
2. Spam: just don't do it. Thou also shalt not fill the forums with multiple threads on the same topic or sockpuppet.
3. Thou shalt not flame, harass, denigrate, spam, malign, or otherwise finger-point and name-call at ANYONE. This one's a biggy. This too can get you banned.
4. Squidstaff love interacting with smart front-line people, so they stop by the forums from time to time to hear your ideas and share updates. However, this isn't the place to post bugs or solicit admin action. Please send those requests through our feedback link.
5. The SquidU forum is a place for users to interact, to share ideas and inspiration (and yes, gripes... maybe another lensmaster can help) and have fun with their lenses. Try searching for an answer or visiting The Answer Deck.

Have you seen the submit button on Guestbook comment submissions?

Must be a bug because I can see the Cancel button -- heck I hit it instead of submit on a long-winded related guestbook comment that I was leaving -- bummer to recreate that comments with short-term memory loss.  wink

I'm seeing a tiny little something to the left of Cancel -- it is the germ of the Submit button -- wonder where it went?  Bug report might be necessary? wink

Re: Have you seen the submit button on Guestbook comment submissions?

It has to be a bug, and a particularly nasty one since guestbook comments help with ranking. Not to mention that it is frustrating for the reader who wants to leave a comment, and can't.

Re: Have you seen the submit button on Guestbook comment submissions?

I noticed it, too. I was reluctant, though, to file a bug report ... because I haven't received a response on others I REALLY want to hear back about. It's a bit frustrating. A small team, I know, but still.....

Re: Have you seen the submit button on Guestbook comment submissions?

I filed a bug report this morning.
Julie, I did the same thing...left a heartfelt long-winded comment and hit the cancel button. Ugh.

Re: Have you seen the submit button on Guestbook comment submissions?

I've been able to leave comments by typing my comment and the code word then just hitting the enter key. That seems to work....

the submit link is still there - the image isn't loading, is all. So it's very tiny.

Re: Have you seen the submit button on Guestbook comment submissions?

Yeah I've been hitting that tiny thing for comments, but I'm not sure they're getting through properly. I forgot which lens but I don't see my comment yet.
And I think I might be dreaming but I'm sure I saw a couple of comments on my lenses that have now disappeared! I am going crazy or what! smile
I hope there's some kind of bug in the comments, and that it gets fixed fast. I guess I'll file a bug report. sad

Thankfully, Mimi told me how to submit my comment, otherwise, I'd still be in the dark.

yah it's been like that for almost a day now. for me anyways. I tried several tweeks with my browser until I realized it must be squidoo...I do get a small sliver of the submit button, just enough to click smile
