Changing web address of my lens
Hi, I would like to change the web address of my lens - is this possible? This is because I am changing the name of my online store and rather than have to draft a lens up from scratch again (!) is it possible just to alter the address to reflect the new name?
Thanks for any advice.

Nope sorry - you can change the Title of a lens, but not the web address (URL).

Oh! So http://www.squidoo.com/postcards-etcetera will have to stay as it is then?
OK...... is there a way I can copy and paste the entire lens content to a new lens? Including the comments received and the fans etc etc? Probably not I guess?

You can copy all your content manually, however guestbook, any poll results and fans will not be transfered. You can always send a squidcast informing people of the move.

Well basically you want to create your new lens (with your new URL), then set up the modules in the same order as your old one. Then copy and paste your content across a module at a time, once you've copied everything over. Delete the old lens.

I have lots of links to the lens by now - so it would be difficult to go and cover them all again. I may decide just to rephrase some of the text so it might not matter so much! Thing is, I used to sell other stuff apart from the vintage postcards but these days the vast majority of my items are the postcards... so I wanted to drop the Etcetera bit! I still sell books on Amazon though, so I could just re word the lens to reflect that.
