I only started this whole project with creating lenses on squidoo & building blogs & self publishing my first book a week ago with no experience and through the guidance here at Squidoo and some personal hardwork got a few blogs set up, some lenses set up, published my Live Smart book, networked a bit, tweaked a bit and wouldn't you know it. I get an invitation to be a featured blogger on a high traffic site and my first lens makes it to the front page from a google search. Thats with no technical, web presence or SEO experience. My Live Smart lens made it to the front page of google. Wow. I am amazed, now I just need to help it lead to more monitization. Thanks very much to everyone and especially the squid pros for their tips and support. I wish you all the very best of success.

You've hit upon why I like to write on Squidoo. I want to help women going through a difficult time and I am thrilled that my lenses continually rank up near the top on Google.

Here are a few of the lenses that helped me. There were many others as well but this is just a short list to lead the way

Cari. That is a hell of a story. I read your ovum lens. It is good to have people like you inform and inspire others. Also, If your son is still having issues with allergies and has developed food allergies, I had just completed a lens today that is not ranked yet by squidoo but you may be able to check it out. There may be something there for you. http://www.squidoo.com/foodallergyinfo. All the best to you.

Thanks! My pregnancy story is more amazing because hundreds of women have told me that that story has saved their own babies! I'm still awed by that.
I'll definitely take a look at your lens tonight. My daughter has nut and pear allergies. My son has a serious latex allergy. I'm always trying to learn all I can about those allergies.

I will work to add more to the allergy lens expanding on alternative managment and prevention as well as information about chemicals contributing to the sensitivity in children.

You quote: [Swine Flu] "I firmly believe that this is just the initial warning phase for this virus. If you prepare now then when this virus mutates and becomes more serious you will be able to prevent and overcome this condition."
This is rampant speculation and scaremongering. Influenza, worldwide, kills more people on a daily basis, and swine flu victims are a small element. All the deaths occured in Mexico - no doubt due to certain conditions, and no one else, anywhere has died of it, with the exception of an elderly woman in San Bernadino LA, and a two year old Mexican child in Texas.
There may be some more isolated deaths worldwide, (please inform me), but statistically they are nothing. I repeat - nothing! Contractually there are several hundreds world-wide, ie with symptoms, but again, they are equally nothing.
A boat of 2000 passengers with maybe two showing symptoms is nothing. A hotel with one thousands guests with one showing symptoms is nothing! Every passenger, landing at every international airport is currently asked if they have been in contact with, or been in Mexico. If they experience flu-like symptoms, then they should report to a doctor. Some countries are taking it more seriously than others, some realise that a few simple questions will allow freedom of movement.
It is a problem unique to Mexico. The Mexican Government failed to recognise it, and were lacking in their action.
Back to your lens. "When this virus mutates and becomes more serious" you write.
I think you are exploiting fundamental fears, and instead of doing that, you could better serve the public by your lens in stating the true facts, which will garner far more respect, than the irresponsible methods you currently employ.
Oops! I've just discovered that tcinvestor already posted the same "word for word" post in the "Intro" forum on the 28th May. (#32)

One died in Canada, but the lady had chronic pre-existing health problems, so that explain why she died of it.

In Response to The_Bard: My intention is to help people become prepared not to spread fear about the swine flu. I am fully entitled to believe what I do regarding this Swine flu as well as you are entitled to feel as you do. Yes, the initial hype has been overdone but nonetheless preparedness is better than failure to take action & being left swingin in the wind. Perhaps your frustration is misdirected. Carry on.

How do you climb in google rank within one week? I have 2 websites submitted to google and currently they are PR 1's. So, my question to you is how did you climb in rank so fast?
Offline
Pagerank has very little influence on your ranking on SERPs.

Thanks. Things are still good but I noticed that you need to maintain traffic as well as not have to much or no duplicate content on other sites such as spreading around to much on blogs & sites..google likes originality so keep your sites and blogs original.

I spent alot of hours initially getting my site together, getting a couple blogs together, linking and back linking. Write blog posts. Use only original content don't copy. Follow the tips on Squidoo Tips lenses. They are great.
