Have you been manually posting your recently updated lenses to your Facebook profile? Manual labor is a thing of the past. Nowadays we have automation. Facebook Connect is here!

We call it SquidooConnect. So clevah!

What's in it for you?

In short, it makes it easy for you to brag about your best lenses to your Facebook friends, get feedback from them, find out which of your fellow Facebookers are here on Squidoo, and even invite more Facebook friends to join you making lenses here. It’s not spam or noise, because they’re your friends, and you choose to share as much or as little as you want.

Over 9,000 earlybirds have signed up for SquidooConnect already. And even if you haven’t yet, here are a few tips to get you zooming off in the right direction.

1. Go to your profile page on Squidoo, scroll down to Social Settings, and make sure you’re logged in to Facebook and successfully connected right now.

2. Check out these 7 Cool Reasons To Use SquidooConnect. Oh, there are many more. But this is a start.

FYI - I love it, and getting the opportunity to comment about the updates, too. Can't wait to get the time to experiment with it on MySpace, too.

I think I'm doing something wrong. It doesn't seem to be working. I'm logged into Facebook and squidoo. Squidoo seems to be pulling my facebook info but facebook doesn't seem to be getting any of my squidoo info.

Some things that are happening:

1) I go to the Squidoo connect app (on facebook) and all it says is:

Hello, Damon Hedman! Welcome to Squidoo Connect!
We have some new info for you:

2) After publishing a lens I click "Share the update on Facebook." A little box appears, disappears and then nothing shows up on facebook.

3) My dashboard says:

You have 46 Facebook friends making lenses on Squidoo. Check 'em out.

I click "Check 'em out" I get a Facebook box that says Sign up for Facebook (Or Log in to Squidoo Connect. I'm already logged in.)
I try to log in anyway and it says cookies are required (They are already enabled.)

4) I just went back to my profile and it says Facebook is not connected and it was earlier.

Anyone else have these problems? (Yes I am going to file a bug report but I thought I'd ask here also.)

And I'm using Firefox 3.0.5

Everything is working good for me. Had no trouble at all on either facebook side or the squidoo side.
You got to remember it only shows up on your wall and will look like this Arthur just updated his Squidoo lens Training Made Easy With Dog Training Aids.

It's working alright. What I can't figure out is why I'd have to see what squidoo lenses my facebook friends have been making right on squidoo. I'd like to turn that off, if I can.

Everything was going good, but now my last 3 updates have not shown up on facebook.

Mine did this too, but if you look on facebook under the update that is showing it'll say "show 2 more posts" or however many and you have to click that and the others show.

Oh I love SquidooConnect already! I do have a question. It appears that when I turn off my computer, I am going to need to reconnect to Facebook via my profile each time. is that right?
My plan is to invite 8 a day - or whatever the limit is! Great way to increase those referals, right?

i've used it a couple times now and it says everything is good and published on my facebook page. but i cannot find out where it is. please enlighten a dummy.

Joan4, no, this info is saved on your My Profile tab. Scroll to the very bottom.

Damon, have you cleared your cache and rebooted?

Kimberly just like Joan everytime I log back in to squidoo, I have to go back to my profile and reconnect. It is not saving like twitter does.

This was a great ideal ,but it seems as if it does not work, now for 2 days none of my updates are showing up on my wall in facebook. Everything thing else on facebook is working great, when I get a new friend that appears.

Yes, I had to reconnect again this morning, so there definitely is a glitch there. Bottom of profile.

just reporting FYI - this morning I checked my profile, and my facebook was disconnected again. So though it all worked perfectly yesterday after I logged in again, I will have to log in every day on my profile and change to "connected" in order to stay active with the facebook application. Thank you.
