4. Squidstaff love interacting with smart front-line people, so they stop by the forums from time to time to hear your ideas and share updates. However, this isn't the place to post bugs or solicit admin action. Please send those requests through our feedback link.
5. The SquidU forum is a place for users to interact, to share ideas and inspiration (and yes, gripes... maybe another lensmaster can help) and have fun with their lenses. Try searching for an answer or visiting The Answer Deck.

We're Growing The Giant Squid Greeter Program...Apply Today!
The Giant Squid Organizers are looking for 7 people who are interested in joining Christene, Noadi and ThomasC as Giant Squid Greeters. Greeters will search for lensmasters with potential, keep up morale in the forum, post in Guestbooks, and mentor. You'll need to dedicate about 1-2 hours per week on this project.
Greeters get the satisfaction of helping new lensmasters in their quest for Giant Squid status AND a nifty new badge! We are looking for people who enjoy helping others, have excellent cheerleading skills and have a sincere interest in passing on their Squidoo knowlege.
Greeters will start their duties on Friday Oct. 10th. So if you are interested in joining this dedicated group of people e-mail us at beagreeter @ Squidoo.com by Wednesday Oct. 8th with one reason why you'd like to be a Greeter.

I think that is a great idea. We seem to be growing pretty rapidly and that will continue to keep Squidoo friendly. By the way, Christene, Noadi and ThomasC have done great jobs as Greeters. I have enjoyed their insightful comments and think that they bring a lot to Squidu and Squidoo. They should be thanked for all of their good work. The new greeters will have a lot to live up too!

I didn't realise there was so much scope in the role... it sounds great! I'd really love for someone to mentor me, so when all the new people are on board please let us know how to get some of this excellent advice and direction to lead us to Giant Squidom! Good luck to all those who are applying!

I applied, after much thought (to make sure I had the time it so deserved) and the fact that someone pressured me by email ROTFLMAO (you know who you are LOL)
I'm a firm believer that it's always nice to have someone give you a kind word, a little help, or a pat on the back once in a while.
Did I mention that the Giant Squid Organizers and the Greeters do an outstanding job and we all appreciate all their hard work and effort.

I saw this post few times and each time I think to myself: 'I could apply too!' But then...
I have this group for Fresh Squids that I run and that takes each day at least an hour of my time... So, I better not apply.
But, would you mind me sending your or someone else mail if (better said when) I spot someone from my group that could be a new Giant Squid?
