I'm having intermittent problems as well.  Oh well, I gotta get ready for a board meeting and work anyway.  Hope it gets sorted out soon.  I want to build some more lenses this weekend!

yup I keep getting page not found/can't connect to server. Things have been pretty slow for the last few days in regard to loading of pages. Seems the new servers we had a few months ago are showing the strain already!

Hi Tony!  Well, ya probably need the break from creating all them great lenses to help you qualify for Giant Squid status!

I started thinking that maybe the fact the some of us lensmasters inserted that little squidutils widget of our fans into our profile codes exploded the bandwidth so that we can't load Squidoo???



Hope that's not it.  Seriously, if us lensmasters can't work on our pages ... that might mean our readers can't find / read our pages EITHER!

I was doing ok until about 2PM (eastern time), than suddenly I'm getting "page not found" messages.

I can load my dashboard and look at my list of lenses, but I can't load any edit pages, stats pages, or the lenses themselves at all

I'm giving up for a while and go get some more sewing done on my Sesshy costume instead (that's what I should be doing anyways.  Squidoo is stealing my time from my projects again. LOL!)

I started having problems last night and as today continues it's getting slower and slower and now it just times out.

There has got to be something strange going on since it probably isn't due to high traffic demand this holiday weekend.

Only us crazy lensmasters are in the house and on the computer on such a wonderful weekend.

Now it seems to be back up - but the number of visits is showing as zero, so they are probably rebuilding something on the server.

Best be wary of doing any edits in case something gets lost.

My SquidUtils server has been showing significant problems connecting to Squidoo, becoming especially bad in the last hour or so. It doesn't look good.

Hopefully it'll resolve itself. Meanwhile, I'm going to venture out into the 'real world' for a bit...

We ran into a bug on our database server today. The site is now up and running, although we're still experiencing one problem related to traffic stats.

I couldn't get in again for a few hours and just did now and all my visitors are gone, my stats show zero for every single lens??? And then some?

Whew...when I stopped in today from work computer and saw zero stats I freaked out thinking I had done something while tweaking my GS lens template last night! Guess I should be working and leave Squidoo to my free time!

Well I am sure it will turn out ok.  I don't mind it showing zero stats as long as the traffic is recorded and can be retrieved, if not then we all start again...  Things will sort themselves out in 7 days...

I do appreciate Gil letting us know what the problem was.  It always annoys me not knowing and not being told.  Like when  your plane is delayed, but they say nothing.  Doesn't that drive you mad!  Hmmm - a good one to add to My Pet Peeves...
