We rounded up lots of good feedback based on the big dashboard release last week, and had a little more time to include some of our planned Phase 2 features.

Sometime tomorrow (I think, I hope) we'll be releasing some fixes and improvements.

1. There will be a "make this page my default" link on all dashboard pages - including filtered lens lists. So for example, you could create your own To Do list of lenses, set that list as the default, so that every time you come back to Squidoo you see that list as a reminder.

2. tighter lens list (less padding). now when you rollover each line in the lens lists, the "edit, view, stats..." links will expand.

3. red shaded background on WIP lenses, in all lens lists.

4. a new Totals / Averages line at the bottom of all the lens lists. Even on custom filters you set up. (So, you can see your total pending earnings, let's say, on all your lenses, then also look at your custom filters and see total pending money for just that subset. Etc.

I'm sure there are a few other things I'm forgetting, but those are the main ones.

After this we won't be messing with the dashboard / lens lists much (though the workshop is on deck for an overhaul!), so feel free to settle in, get comfy, and work on some lenses.

Well, I guess I can start officially mourning the loss of the colored labels. I'm sorry that Squidoo can't be convinced of the benefits of being able to see a grouping within the overall list visually, and that Magicality has said he won't do anything with labels anymore.

Truly the loss of a very useful tool....

You seem to bring the negative side of things, or what you think it's bad over and over.
How about highlighting the good things and saying thank you for it?
Megan you're doing great with the updates, don't let these isolated cases bring you down.

I was very negative about the dashboard too - but I'm getting used to it.
It's nice to have the extra features, but I still don't use all of them - yet!
Looking forward to seeing the latest updates - but Squidoo seems to be down

I'm getting comfy already, and the new improvements will make it even comfier. I wonder if that's what they're installing right now because Squidooland is down for me too. Maybe that's an added caring feature, Dashboard shutting down when I should be sleeping anyway (4 am)...

Squidoo is back up but I don't see any obvious dashboard changes - I assume it was down for other reasons. Looking forward to new enhancements.

I love the new dashboard with all that I see except PLEASE give me back my sort capabilities. I can't believe I'm the only one who can't sort ... too many lenses?

I don't think sorting matters Julie - until you have too many lenses - and then you need categories and the ability to sort them.

I did like the old dashboard from the point that each lens only took up 1 line - now the double spacing means my lenses (all 25 of them) require more scrolling to view.

it's not the amount of lenses...it doesn't work in IE
you'll have to switch to firefox

Thanks for continuing to improve the Dashboard Extension Magicality. I regret that our updates break it, but I'm really happy that you always find ways to build on our ideas.

The new dashboard is such a HUGE improvement.

Thanks for letting us know about the color change on wip... I was a little worried when I saw it!

Why did you have to add that roll over thing, it's really visually disorienting for me. To the extent of making me a bit nauseous. I understand some people wanting it to be more compact but could it please be an option?

The red highlighting for WIPs is great though.

Edit: Also wouldn't the totals be more useful at the top than the bottom? Especially for those with lots of lenses.

I like the rollover (though it's early days which ever way you feel about it so far).

Noadi's right - totals should be at the top. Not sure that average pending revenue is worth having.

Sorry to report a minor bug...

The "Set as Main Page" feature doesn't work 100%. After you log out and log in, it won't remember your setting. I've fixed it on the test server, but it won't go live until later.

Sorting in the lens list should work in IE now.

Sorting the visits column is still broken, Blake - in both browsers. It doesn't like it when there's a comma in the number (i.e. larger than 999).
