Sanjay Shares Subliminal Message Secrets

This week lensmaster extraordinaire Mr. Lewis Smile interviews fellow lensmaster Sanjay Agrawal. Sanjay is a self-development enthusiast with a love for Squidoo and an extensive list of blogging and forum projects.
Lewis: So, Sanjay, you're a Squidoo Lensmaster! What else do you do online?
Sanjay: Besides the Squidoo lens, I also maintain my own small blog - http://success-nirvana.blogspot.com, which focuses on self-development and New Age products. Very recently, I have taken over the managing of http://selfdevelopmentblog.com - another personal development podium. My work as moderator for http://selfdevelopmentforum.com keeps me busy, welcoming new members, finding answers to challenging personal questions on individual growth, and squashing spam messages!
I am also in the translation arena. I have another blog - http://indialanguageculture.spaces.live.com, where I write about matters pertaining to Indian culture and its past and present. These days this particular blog is fast turning into a cupid platform where Indic language messages of the romantic realm are translated into English, and vice-versa! I moderate a forum devoted to Indic language translations - http://wordanywhere.com/cgi-bin/y2/YaBB.pl?board=Hindi. I ghostwrite on a diverse range of subjects - from Iraq's underutilized and underachieved potential as a great nation, to the impact of Venture Capital on sunrise industries. I am writing two books too, and hope to self-publish them soon.Lewis: How did you first hear about Squidoo?
Sanjay: There was a post on Digg.Com that pointed to a module in one of the lenses. This post attracted me to Squidoo.
Lewis: Cool! And what made you decide to join Squidoo as a Lensmaster?
Sanjay: I saw in Squidoo a good platform to express myself. The landing page is so inviting, and I could immediately vibe with the ambience that pervades on the site.
Lewis: And what do you like best about Squidoo?
Sanjay: Squidoo is technically speaking a blog. But its approach is different from a blog - with its modules and community orientation. I can handpick my modules from the list available, and I can play with them to build and rearrange my content the way I want to. Lenses developed by other lensmasters are always at hand, to link to and draw inspiration from.
Lensmasters come from all over the globe, and bring with them the diversity that human race is made up of. You will something unique in each of the lenses on Squidoo. It is not regurgitation of ideas culled from other sites; not a collection of outbound links; and it is definitely not spam. You will find an original perspective in each of them. Plus, it is a great way to bond with a niche group of like-minded people, who have the same approach to sharing and community as I do. There is a lot of bonhomie in the modules and lenses, as well as in the lounge over at squidu.com. When you introduce yourself in the lounge, they take a look at the lens you have created, and if it gels with the general instinct, you are warmly accepted into the fold ('brotherhood' or 'fraternity', shall I call it?) right on day one, as I was. You return with the feeling that you have known these folks for ages!Lewis: What passions of yours do you write about on Squidoo?
Sanjay: My current focus is subliminality and its impact on the subconscious - http://www.squidoo.com/subliminal-subconscious/. The title is "Tapping The Subconscious, Subliminally".
Lewis: I know you put fresh content and articles and news pieces on your Subliminal Subconscious lens to keep it nice and fresh and always worth re-reading. Do you have any plans for more cool lenses?
Sanjay: Yes, I am planning to create new lenses on the subjects of lucid dreaming, the paranormal, and books on self-development.
Lewis: How do you promote your lens?
Sanjay: I think I have yet to go some distance before I can think about promoting my lens. Perhaps after I have created the others, I can work out some plan to promote them all as a combined, self-development bouquet of lenses.
Lewis: How do you plan to use Squidoo in the future?
Sanjay: My friends on Squidoo tell me that the lenses are a great way to earn money too! There are those exciting modules from Amazon that I can splice between my content modules, and they can fetch money. Squidoo also has altruism built into its DNA - the theme of charity runs through its pages. So maybe I can contribute in whichever way I can to shore its funds.
Lewis: Do you dream of lenses like a lot of other lensmasters addicted to Squidoo?
Sanjay: Not yet, but the addiction is proving compelling with each passing day! :)
Lewis: Could these dreams we're all having be caused somehow by your subliminal subconscious lens, do you think?! ;)
Sanjay: Ah, you are planting ideas in my mind! :) It would be a great way to attract more traffic, and of course more revenue by way of ads! A nice thought, though!
Lewis: Thanks for your time, Sanjay! Best of luck with your lenses!
Sanjay: A pleasure :) And thanks!
