Squidoo: How do you use Squidoo to enhance the power of your blog(s)?
Rajesh of Blogging Starter Checklist says: I have to say that Squidoo can be a great complement for any blog that has timeless content. In simple terms, Squidoo lenses provide ways of slicing your blog in ways that were never possible before. If your blog has a lot of good content, think about organizing them into one or more Squidoo lenses. After that, you can enhance your lens with relevant content outside of your blog. When you start offering a huge ROII (return on investment for an interaction) for your lens readers, automatically the traffic for your blog goes up.
Mike Paetzold has several lenses on blogging and offers: One of the great things about Squidoo for bloggers is the RSS module. Setting those up and pulling your feed into your lens creates an easy way to get all of your posts indexed quite quickly. Besides you can add a lot of value on your topic quite easily by using the faclities that Squidoo offers and focusing on just a piece of your total topic in great detail with each lens that you create. The feed allows people interested in that micro section to see another source from you of great information on the topic you have picked.
Prolific lensmaster Skills offers: I have found that Squidoo is now one of my top 3 referrers to my main blog. What I like about Squidoo with regards to promoting my blog is that often when a blog post isn't enough to get a particular point across, or I want to make a particular blog post or idea more permanent than a post lost in the archives of my blog, I quite a short lens about it and link to my blog post from there. And from my blog post to the lens. It really helps me get a wider audience of people who would not have found me otherwise and really helps me gain more credibility with my new readers, as my work on both my blog AND on my lenses shows them that I have things worth saying! Squidoo and blogs are a perfect match, and each one is great for referring visitors to the other. Squidoo is really helping me to spread my tentacles online.
