Link to an Individual Module
When you share your lenses -- or lenses you like -- with other people, you can email a lens to a friend using the Squidoo Email tool. Or you can simply copy and paste the lens's URL in an email to your friend, family member or colleague.
But what if you want to point someone to a specific module -- or specific content in a lens? Sure, for example, you could say, "Scroll down almost to the bottom and look for the Real-Life X-Files module."
You could also say, "For some interesting books on the factual basis behind the X-Files's stories, check out this module."
That's right: You can link directly to a module. How?
In the sidebar of a lens, look for the Lens Contents. This zone is diminished when you're in edit mode; it's expanded when reading the public lens. Each item links to a specific module.
If you title your modules wisely, the Lens Contents can fully outline what readers can expect from your lens. What's where? You can also use it to link directly to the innards of a lens -- yours or another lensmaster's.
