Flickr Module

Basics: This module helps lensmasters brighten their lenses by adding photographs to the mix.

Purpose: To pull in specific -- or automatically selected -- photos from Flickr's photo-sharing service.

Description: Regardless of whether it's true that a picture is worth 1,000 words, adding images to a lens can make a substantial difference. Rather than uploading images, lensmasters can draw on the active photo-sharing community Flickr. If you're a member, select your own photos -- or choose automatic feeds of recent images related to the topic of your lens.

How to Use:

1. While in a lens's workshop, click on the Add a Module button.

2. Expand the Top Content Modules.

3. Next to the Flickr Module, click on the Add button.

4. Hit the Continue button.

5. Scroll to find the newly added Flickr module, and click on the Edit button

6. Select the Change link to the right of the placeholding module title to change the title. You can also add a subtitle and a description for the module by selecting those respective links.

7. There are three ways to use the Flickr module:

7a. Let Flickr Pick

Choose which of your lens's tags you'd like to use to search Flickr images, or add your own. You can also indicate how many images to include.

7b. Let Me Pick

Paste in a number of Flickr image URLs -- one per line -- to individually pick what photos are displayed.

7c. Pick by Photoset

Enter a Flickr member's username to choose photosets to display in the module. You can also indicate how many images to include.

8. When you're done, click on the Save button.
