Link List Module

The Link List Module helps lensmasters share lists of online resources and tools -- web sites -- as well as descriptions of why the sites are important, useful, and worth visiting. This is one of the most used Squidoo modules. The module displays a list of web sites, offering their name, a description, and a link to the site itself.

1. While editing a lens, click on the Add Modules button.

2. Expand the Basic tab.

3. Next to the Link List Module, click on the Add button.

4. Hit the Continue button.

5. Scroll to find the newly added Link List module, and click on the Edit button

6. Select the Change link to the right of the placeholding module title to change the title. You can also add a subtitle and a description for the module by selecting those respective links.

The links you choose are important, but how you organize and position your link list modules is important, too. Don't just chuck tons of links in one module. Focus your link lists just like you focus a lens.

7. Each link is composed of three parts: the link, the name, and the description. If you want help finding links -- or want to draw on some of a site's content, use those tools.

Don't hesitate to explain why you think a site is special or how you use a web page. Your perspective can help people choose which tools to use.

8. To add additional links, click on the Add Another Link button.

9. When you're done, hit the Save button.
