Playing (with) Tags
One of the questions brought up by new lensmasters is how they can best add new tags. Once you've first published your lens -- adding the first tags as part of the lens-building process -- you can still add more tags.
1. Click on My Lenses.
2. Select a lens.
3. Hit the Edit button next to Related Tags in the About This Lens area of the sidebar.
4. Choose the Add More Tags button.
5. Add more tags.
6. When done, hit Save and then Publish -- your additions should now be reflected in the live lens!
When adding your tags, the format you use can also be important. Don't just add a bunch of keywords in a single tag field.
1. Add tags to your lens one per field.
2.Tags can be oneword, two words, or wordsrunningtogether.
3. You do not need quotation marks for a tag pair (like network marketing, which you can see on the Explore page as one tag [at this writing], even though it's two words).
You might notice that there's also a field for Primary Tag. This can be one of the tags you're already using -- or a different tag. But think of it this way: If you had to give the topic of your lens in one word (or tag), what would it be?
